Accessibility Statement
We believe financial clarity should be accessible to everyone, regardless of technology or ability.
Our Standards
Does It Pay? is designed and tested to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards across all calculators and pages.
Accessible Design Features
- Full Keyboard Control: All forms, buttons, links, scrollable tables, and charts are fully navigable and operable via standard keyboard controls with visible focus rings.
- Screen Reader Architecture: Labeled form fields, explicit aria-describedby linkage for error messages and guidance hints, semantic headings, and skip-to-content shortcuts.
- Data Table Twins: Every SVG chart is paired with a collapsible, fully accessible data table twin for complete screen reader and tabular inspection.
- High Contrast and Reduced Motion: High contrast color ratios exceeding WCAG AA/AAA thresholds, Windows High Contrast mode (forced-colors) support, and prefers-reduced-motion animation suppression.
- Mobile Usability: 44px minimum tap targets and 16px input font sizing to prevent iOS Safari auto-zooming.
